The Outer BanksIn addition to the many cultural and historical attractions of the area, the primary attraction for our many visitors is the natural beauty of our seashore and the National Parks that extend the length of the Bodie, Hatteras, and Ocracoke barrier islands that comprise the Outer Banks. The small town atmosphere of the islands provides an ideal setting for a safe and rewarding work experience, and an excellent vantage point to study the American way of life and culture. Pathways International is dedicated to helping the international student derive the most benefit from this unique opportunity.
Most students live and work in the more populated areas of the Outer Banks -- Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nag’s Head to the north. But many jobs are also found throughout the island chain in the smaller and more remote villages on Roanoke, Hatteras and Ocracoke islands. |
