Arranging Transportation with Pathways

Our Pathways volunteers make scheduled trips to and from Elizabeth City, including the bus station and the Social Security office. We can provide transportation for students locally as well in emergency situations. We offer planned transportation services to Norfolk and Chesapeake, Virginia, to the airport and for shopping and other special trips and events with advance notice. Our cost is very low, for example - to hire a taxi to take you from

Elizabeth City to the Outer Banks the cost is approximately $75 to $100. For more than 2 people we can lower the cost for you.

Elizabeth City Bus Station (round trip)	$40.00 for 1 person	$35.00/person for 2 people	$30.00/person for 3 or more people
Elizabeth City Social Security Office (round trip)	$40.00 for 1 person	$35.00/person for 2 people	$30.00/person for 3 or more people
Chesapeake Shopping (round trip - price may vary depending on number of people)	$50.00 for 1 person	$45.00/person for 2 people	$40.00/person for 3 or more people
Nags Head to Duck	$10.00

We ask for 3 days advance notice except in emergencies. Payment for transportation arrangements can be made here online (below) or in person at our facility. In order to reserve your ride, payment must be made in advance. Contact us for special consideration if you cannot make payment in advance but would like to try to reserve a ride.
